Solutions
The company develop new patented technology (PL
patent application P.436198) for producing biomethanol, a useful chemical
compound, from carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas that
contributes to climate change. The process involves declustered water saturated
with CO2 and a graphene-based catalyst, placed in a closed container
transparent for UV-VIS-NIR light. The catalysts irradiated with electromagnetic
wave split the water and releases hydrogen that in the same time is used in the
reaction with CO2 and synthesis of biomethanol.
Converting CO2 to methanol is an innovative and
sustainable technology with several benefits. By using CO2 as a feedstock, this
process reduces the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, promotes
energy efficiency, and offers a versatile chemical compound that can be used in
a variety of applications. This technology is a promising solution for reducing
greenhouse gas emissions and promoting sustainable development while reducing
dependency on fossil fuels.
